Our co-founder Dr. Dominik Dörr will attend the conference and exhibition held from September 5-7 in Novi, Michigan, USA. Dominik will moderate the “Modeling of Composites” track and provide a presentation on “Opportunities and Challenges of Composites Forming Simulation for Digital Product Development”.

In the sense of an environmentally compatible economy, the development of products under consideration of the end of life from the beginning on is crucial. A research project called DiDe4Rec (=Digital Design for Recycling) was launched at the end of January.

This year’s ESAFORM conference was held from April 19 to 21 in Krakow, Poland. Our co-founder and managing director Dr. Dominik Dörr held an invited keynote presentation including case studies from recent projects with partners from the automotive and aerospace industries (Toyota, Airbus, Aerlyte) and research (Fraunhofer Innovation Platform (FIP) at Western University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Fraunhofer ICT, and Fraunhofer IWM).

Fraunhofer Innovation Platform for Composites Research at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada is inviting to a one-day workshop and open house aimed at connecting the composite industry internationally and showcasing state-of-the-art composite technologies. Our co-founder Dr. Martin Hohberg will contribute with a talk on “Virtual process chains for compression molding processes as a basis for digital product development”.
